RO-RO Shipping
Roll-on Roll-off car ferry services are offered at many destinations. Car carriers, specifically built for this purpose, are used to transport vehicles safely overseas across the globe. Through this shipment method, cars are protected from the elements in sealed car decks in which they are secured to the deck. RO-RO shipping is an abbreviation for the term Roll-on Roll-off—when cargo is driven on and then off of the vessel. RO-RO shipping can be used to transport tractors, cars, buses, truck or oversized cargo overseas by loading them onto lowboy, flatbed trailers and shipping them by sea.
 Exclusive Container
You may also choose to ship your vehicle in an exclusive container or a shared container which consolidates the total load and tends to be more cost-effective.U.S. Express can either pick your vehicle up from your residence or you can bring it to our warehouse yourself, whichever is more convenient for you. Once we have received or picked up your vehicle, our professionally trained international relocation staff will gently load your vehicle into thecontainer, bracing and lashing it inside, in which it will be shipped overseas. It is then carefully secured into position so that it will remain protected and will not shift while being transported. Once secured, U.S. Express will then carefully transport the container holding your vehicle to the port of departure. The container will go through customs prior to being loaded onto the vessel on which it will make its overseas journey. U.S. Express is there from beginning to end—seeing your vehicle through customs and ensuring that it will make it safely onto the shipping vessel and to its overseas destination.
 Overland
Car Transporter used for overland interstate or local transport to transport your vehicle from your pick up location in U.S. or Canada to the departure port or terminal. We arrange from single car movements and full load vehicle carriers, to the more refined enclosed carriers for high value and long distance moves. We can handle all your needs including door collection, insurance and collection of the shipping documents you may be required to submit for your international shipment.
Your Bus, vehicle or boat cannot be used as a shipping container. For your safety and security, U.S. Express asks that you do not store your personal or household goods in your car during your international relocation. |
